Hello! My name is Sarah Lindsay, and I am a junior at UNC-Chapel Hill studying psychology on a pre-nursing track. I’m originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, but am a tarheel born and bred. I work at Chick-fil-A and have a taste for hospitality and marketing. Living throughout the COVID-19 pandemic has been very eye opening to me. I’ve learned so much about the role of nurses and how vital they are to society. I began volunteering at UNC Hospital in an effort to help out in any way I can during this nursing shortage. In june, I will hopefully become a certified CNA and begin my journey to becoming a family nurse practitioner. I am looking forward to studying all that microbiology has to offer and applying it to my future career!
